About Annika

Annika has always been drawn to performance, whether through athletics, movement, or screen work. She began gymnastics at age four and has competed since age eight. The sport has shaped her discipline, focus, and resilience - qualities she carries into her acting.

A five-time Provincial Champion and Atlantic Canada All-Around Gold Medalist, Annika is a member of the “38 Club” and recipient of the 2025 Female Athlete of the Year award from Gymnastics PEI.

In addition to gymnastics, Annika studies ballet en pointe. She began formal ballet training at age twelve and has performed in selections from Swan Lake, Alice in Wonderland and The Nutcracker at year-end dance showcases. Ballet deepens her understanding of storytelling through movement and complements her athletic training.

Outside of performance, Annika enjoys piano, reading, and spending time outdoors. Summers on Prince Edward Island’s shoreline fostered a strong connection to nature and its where she continues to feel most grounded.

Annika has professional modeling experience, having appeared on runways in Toronto, Montreal, and New York, including New York Fashion Week.
